Senior Consulting Therapist – Sydney and Melbourne

As a Senior Consulting Therapist, you will lead all aspects of MG studio life on behalf of your clients. The role is split equally between in studio skin health treatments, product advisory and prescription activities, scheduling and leading Virtual Consults for our local and international clientele, as well as supporting studio operations. You are confident in software applications such as video conferencing, e-commerce and POS systems and you’re keen to take the initiative to learn about features you’re not yet fluent in. Your written correspondence is exemplary – grammatical and spelling errors are few and far between – and you’re as engaging with clients over email as you are in person.

When it comes to treatments, you love performing a meticulous microdermabrasion and the stress-relieving benefits of a blissful massage. You know your Hyaluronic Acid from your Squalene. You’d never leave the house without SPF (and you’d never let your clients, either!). You practise what you preach, value a wholesome lifestyle and truly understand the benefits this has on long term skin health for both yourself and your clients. Above all, you have a proven history of nurturing long term client relationships and truly understand the level of care, detail and sincere attention that this requires.

To be considered for the role, ideally you will:

  • Have impeccable written and verbal communication skills – grammatical and spelling errors are few and far between
  • Have a proven track record of building and nurturing purposeful, long term client relationships
  • Demonstrate competence and confidence operating multiple digital platforms – video conferencing, email, POS systems and e-commerce software
  • Pride yourself on your organisational skills and like planning ahead – you know your schedule back to front, and know which clients you are seeing today, tomorrow and next month
  • Have strong time management skills. You know how to prioritise and work to a timeline
  • Show a willingness to jump in and get the job done – whether it be answering the phone or posting orders to clients, you understand the true meaning of “teamwork”
  • Enjoy multitasking, working efficiently and effectively and are always thinking ahead. You thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Have a sound understanding of skin care products and their ingredients and formulation and are confident in recommending and prescribing these
  • Live and breathe exceptional customer service standards. You know your clients by their first name and you take pleasure in going above and beyond to ensure they have everything they need
  • Boast a fun and generous nature that’s unaffected during busier periods. Everything you do is with a smile from ear to ear
  • Have the ability to take initiative. You don’t need to be a born leader but you know what to do and how to prioritise without always being told first
  • Practise what you preach. You value health, wellness and a wholesome lifestyle and truly understand the benefits of this for skin health
  • Have a strong work ethic. You take pride in following process and doing your job well
  • Maintain immaculate grooming and presentation and understand the importance of this also applying to your work environment

Skincare Retail Consultant – Sydney and Melbourne

As a Skincare Consultant, you will carry out a diverse range of retail-specific, client facing activities founded in exceptional customer service and advisory around products, formulations and caring for the skin. This consulting role is split equally between retail sales, product advisory, prescription, coordination and online order logistics. You are confident in software applications such as video conferencing, e-commerce and POS systems and you’re keen to take the initiative to learn about features you’re not yet fluent in. Your written correspondence is exemplary – grammatical and spelling errors are few and far between – and you’re as engaging with clients over email as you are in person.

When it comes to client care, your attention to detail is of the highest calibre. You are a born listener – and great conversationalist – and sharing your knowledge and love for skincare comes as second nature to you. You take pride in forming long-standing relationships with your clients, all of whom know they can call on you for advice around their night serum, a DIY home treatment or to recommend a new cleanser as the seasons change. You’d never leave the house without SPF (and you’d never let your clients, either!). You practise what you preach, value a wholesome lifestyle and truly understand the benefits this has on long term skin health for both yourself and your clients. Above all, you have a sound understanding of true client care and will go to any length to ensure your clients always leave the space – and return – with a smile.

To be considered for the role, ideally you will:

  • Have a minimum of 2 years experience in a high end retail environment
  • Have a sound understanding of skin care products, their ingredients and formulation and are confident in recommending and prescribing these
  • A proven track record in managing budgets and exceeding KPI’s
  • Well organised logistics experience – ordering, creating and receiving deliveries, stocktake, inventory management and reporting
  • Have impeccable written and verbal communication skills – grammatical and spelling errors are few and far between
  • Have a proven track record of building and nurturing purposeful, long term client relationships
  • Demonstrate competence and confidence operating diverse technology platforms – video conferencing, email, POS systems and e-commerce software
  • Pride yourself on your organisational skills and like planning ahead – you can be relied upon within your team to ensure everyone is tracking to schedule
  • Have strong time management skills. You know how to prioritise and work to a timeline
  • Show a willingness to jump in and get the job done – whether it be answering the phone or posting orders to clients, you understand the true meaning of “teamwork”
  • Enjoy multitasking, working efficiently and effectively and are always thinking ahead. You thrive in a fast-paced environment
