Being a beauty editor comes with some pretty sweet perks. There are boatloads of products sent in for review weekly (I won’t pretend it sucks), swanky events to attend in the name of research and a never-ending supply of dry shampoo at hand. (Also, there are a lot of brand-themed doughnuts—try not to hate me.) Still, having access to beauty experts is by far my favourite part of the job. Being able to flick an email to Lara Worthington’s colourist asking how to keep my blonde hair shiny, or quiz Alexa Chung’s makeup artist on her favourite eyeliner pens is what beauty-obsessive dreams are made of, after all.
Inspired by the skin (and life) changing effects of the advice of experts I reached out to some of my favourite therapists and asked them to share their night-time routines. Why night-time? As you’ll learn, skin is best placed to repair and regenerate overnight which means that everything you do in the lead up to sleep shows up on your face. Keep reading for all their tips and tricks!
