Greece's muse.gr built a service feature entirely around Melanie Grant's at-home techniques, introducing her as an Australian facialist with clinics on three continents and clients including Victoria Beckham, Cate Blanchett and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley.
Three hacks are covered: customising a home mask by blending two or three products, her favourite being a hydrating gel mask mixed with a firming cream; moving facial massage to the cleansing step, using a milky cleanser or balm so the hands glide upward and outward to address lymphatic congestion; and a thin layer of raw, unheated honey as a post-cleanse mask for sensitive and blemish-prone skin, which she describes as healing and strengthening with antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory properties. For dull skin she prescribes an enzyme treatment followed by an old-school ice bath — cold water with ice packs, the face submerged around five times at ten-second intervals.
