Violet Grey's The Violet Files interviewed Melanie Grant over Met Gala weekend, describing an airtight schedule of back-to-back treatments for Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Grace Gummer and Aurora James, with her New York studio sitting directly above the Violet Grey Madison store.
She details facials done in collaboration with Eighth Day around the launch of their Revitalizing Mask, and names her treatment-room staples: the Victoria Beckham Beauty cleansers she co-created, Augustinus Bader's The Cream and Rich Cream, Eighth Day Regenerative Serum infused via ultrasound, Biologique Recherche Masque Vivant and Biomagic, and Chanel Sublimage Crème Corps et Décolleté for the body massage she includes in every treatment. Her event rules are eight hours' sleep, water, no alcohol or salty food — and nothing new.
"I always say don't try anything new. Now is not the time to try a new product or a new treatment," she says.
