The Nd:YAG Vascular Laser Facial is a laser treatment designed for skin that goes red easily. It focuses on the look of couperose and reactive complexions: persistent flushing, diffuse redness and the fine, visible capillaries that often sit around the nose and cheeks.

People book it because redness like this rarely shifts with skincare alone. This treatment works on the visible vessels themselves, and it does so without disrupting the delicate surface barrier of the skin.

Who it suits

It is best suited to vascular, reactive and couperose complexions that are prone to persistent flushing and visible broken capillaries. If your face looks flushed much of the time, or you can see small spider veins on your cheeks or around your nose, this is the treatment designed for that.

If you have been diagnosed with rosacea or another skin condition, please tell us when booking. We may ask you to check with your doctor first. As with all our clinical treatments, your therapist assesses your skin before anything else, and suitability is confirmed at consultation.

What happens in the room

The Long-Pulsed Nd:YAG laser works at a precise, deeply penetrating wavelength. It selectively targets the haemoglobin inside dilated capillaries and broken micro-vessels. The vessel absorbs the heat, which causes it to coagulate and fade, and over time the body clears it away naturally.

Vascular skin needs careful handling, so the laser is paired with a continuous cooling system to keep you comfortable throughout. After the laser, your therapist applies a bespoke infusion of:

  • vasoconstricting botanicals
  • replenishing lipids
  • calming peptides

The treatment finishes with professional LED Light Therapy using Near-Infrared wavelengths, to help soothe the skin and support its barrier.

Results and aftercare

The aim is a calmer, more even-toned complexion that feels comforted rather than irritated. The treatment helps reduce the look of diffuse redness and visible spider veins, and softens the flushed appearance of couperose skin.

You may see some initial clarity after one session. Because the body clears treated vessels gradually, though, the change builds over time rather than all at once. Your therapist will talk you through how to look after your skin between sessions.

Good to know

For the best result we recommend a progressive series of 3 to 4 treatments spaced 4 weeks apart. Results vary from person to person, and occasional maintenance sessions may be needed to keep redness looking settled. Your therapist will help you plan the course once they have seen your skin.
